One more show left! Tonight! SF! Anyone wanna roll?

I used to be in OHAPOLLO. We had some releases we were proud of, and we had a lot that we weren’t. This three way split, put out by the European label, Tief In Marcellos Schuld, is really awesome. For starters its on mini disk and features OHAPOLLO, Future Fluxus, and The Outer Space. To be honest though, i have no idea who these bands are. I have yet to check them out, but i will get around to it. Promise.

I guess i feel sort of strange about this release. We haven’t been a band for a while now and I know nothing of the other bands, or the record label. I feel a little lost, but i am so appreciative. It is weird to think that people out there still want to push something that died nearly two years ago. What is left of my heart goes out to everyone who had a hand in this split. Thank you very much.

I believe the split is for sale and I am sure they could use some reimbursement for the sweet pressing this received. ALSO, they distribute Early and Often, and Great Strength whom are very good friends of mine, and everyone in OHAPOLLO. Jeff thank you for hand delivering the splits to us!

I caught myself in a lie today while lurking Facebook. Well, lets call it a half truth. Turns out Blackwater Tentacles has a blog: http://blackwatertentacles.wordpress.com/ There latest post says they have about 15 of those tapes left, so snag one. I’m also interested in these guys: http://www.whitelabellimited.com/ I would like to get in contact with them, looks like they are doing good things. The headlining picture today comes from Andrew Thompson, who has been featured here a handful of times, and apparently collaborated with the White Label Limited guys for a T-shirt sporting this David Bowie piece. I’m hoping i run into Andrew and the White Label Limited guys soon so i can thank them for the content. In the meantime, we are waiting for some quality submissions before we can print the next physical copy of the RKC zine. Blackwater Tentacles just released this tape for free. Picked up my copy last night at a house show in Gyserville, CA, but The irony in this all is that i didn’t even get to see them play. I heard it was nuts. Think i saw some video being taken. Maybe i can track that down and post it. Im trying to get this blog going steady. Who knew that would be so difficult… Part of the problem is, we haven’t been receiving any submissions for the next issue of the RKC Zine. Besides that, I’m pretty lazy and busy, but luckily i came across this piece of art done by Chris Regan - an RKC founder/ talented artist… too bad he is arguably lazier than me!…. Anyways there you have it! ps: I heard he is planning on making prints of this, and other pieces, and that they will be for sale. Cheap!
